The second title to come from new publisher Ambrosia Publishing, SMUGGLING SPIRITS has begun its online serialization at http://smugglingspirits.ambrosiapublishing.com. SMUGGLING SPIRITS is a horror / action graphic novel written by Ben Fisher and illustrated by Mike Henderson with lettering by Adam Markiewicz scheduled for publication in fall 2007 from Ambrosia Publishing.
SMUGGLING SPIRITS is a nightmarish vision of Prohibition-era America where humans live in fear of the deadly monstrosities lurking just outside their windows. A bootlegger whose successful career is largely due to a rather unique psychological condition and his newfound young ward find themselves on the run from an unrelenting enemy who believes they hold the key to its destruction.
As with Ambrosia Publishing’s first graphic novel, Kyle Strahm’s CLOCKWORK CREATURE: CHAPTER ONE (which can be read online at http://clockworkcreature.ambrosiapublishing.com), SMUGGLING SPIRITS will first be serialized online for free before being published as a graphic novel with bonus material. The online serialization of SPIRITS will be updated with a new page Monday through Friday till it is completed.
