Scott Pilgrim Mania

Yesterday saw the release of the highly-anticipated Scott Pilgrim and The Infinite Sadness graphic novel by Bryan Lee O’Malley, published by Oni Press. I admit, I was late to the whole Scott Pilgrim thing having just read the first volume, Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life last week. I do have to say it was perhaps the funnest, most entertaining read I’ve had in a long time.

BookExpo America Reports

Based on the majority of reports, graphic novels and their publishers had a stronger presence at this year’s BEA. Reports vary but the general consesus was the comic companies there appeared to be “one of the gang” instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.
