Part of the newly-revamped Independent Propaganda is a message board with a forum set-up for independent publishers and self-publishers to meet, greet, and share ideas. The Publisher’s Watering Hole is a private one (due to the discussion of business practices and the like) so if you are an indy publisher or self-publisher interested in joining, here is what you do:
1) Go to the message board and create an account
2) Email me the username you are using for your account
3) I will then add you to the group for that forum
4) And that is it
I would like The Publisher’s Watering Hole forum to be a place where independent and self-publishers of all sizes can get to know one another and to also help each other out. It’s tough being a publisher so let’s help each other out because there is more to comics than Marvel and DC. It is time the world knew that as well.

The second title to come from new publisher Ambrosia Publishing, SMUGGLING SPIRITS has begun its online serialization at http://smugglingspirits.ambrosiapublishing.com. SMUGGLING SPIRITS is a horror / action graphic novel written by Ben Fisher and illustrated by Mike Henderson with lettering by Adam Markiewicz scheduled for publication in fall 2007 from Ambrosia Publishing.

Top Cow Productions announced today that the three Witchblade issues tying into this summer’s First Born will each feature a special guest penciler. All three issues will feature the same cover artist and inker along with regular series writer, Ron Marz (Ion, Samurai: Heaven & Earth).
Witchblade #110, #111, and #112 will coincide with the release of this summer’s Top Cow event, First Born. The tie in issues will feature expanded story lines that add depth to the experiences of former Witchblade bearer Sara Pezzini and current bearer Danielle Baptiste. Witchblade #110 will feature pencils by Matt Haley (Superman Returns, Who Wants To Be A Superhero?). Witchblade #111 will feature pencils by Stephen Sadowski (JSA, Red Sonja Annual). Witchblade #112 will feature pencils by Rick Leonardi (JLA Classified, Superman Returns). All three issues will feature inks by Kevin Nowlan (Batman: Black & White, Superman vs Aliens) and covers by Mike Mayhew (Vampirella, The Pulse).
