For those who visit IP on a regular or semi-regular basis, you may have realized a couple of things lately: updates to the site has been sparse plus it has a new makeover.

As some already know, this past month has been pretty hectic for oui which explains the lack of regular updates. But things will pick-up this week. And the makeover is something I plan on doing every so often. Personally, I dig the new look. It should make using the site easier than before. Coupled with the feedback I received from people who use the site led to a redesign.

So if you’re inclined, let me know what you think of the new look- good or bad- by emailing me your comments.

It’s a more mature Peanuts. The same wry wit is present; however, the themes are a little above getting a football yanked out from under you. Even though that is precisely what happens to the new small city-state of America Jr. They had the football yanked out from under them.

America Jr. is about a guy who left to lead the hot life as a lawyer in L.A. He has now come back to his small hometown. As soon as he gets home, the town undergoes a change. According to the town charter, it is no longer part of America.

THE MAKING OF SOULDRIVER is a series of articles documenting the trials and tribulations of self publishing ones own comic/graphic novel..or…whatever you want to call it. Available in both widescreen and full screen and told in vivid color and excruciating detail by writer/artist and creator of his own self-publishing venture, Jim Giar. From gathering ideas to choices in publishing methods, he shall attempt to cover everything and anything. All while maintaining a strict, professional air of decorum. (Well….within reason.) And if he doesn’t have the answers… he can probably at least point you in the right direction. So jump on board and let’s watch the tragedy unfold. Come on! It’ll be fun. Where do you get ideas?

This is a question that has probably been asked a hundred if not thousands of times. Over at Digital Webbing it gets asked at least once a month. What do you do to get out of writer’s block? Is the hokey- pokey what it’s really all about? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Hey!…one question at a time.
